Hello, my name is Kassandra, and i have been following your blogging (or lack thereof lately! haha, i'm just giving you a hard time) for a little while now. I live in fairbanks. This picture of you is adorable. I'm so happy for you, even though I don't know you. I myself was recently married. My husand and I said our vows on June 14 of this year. :o) It has been a wonderful, trying time! :o) Marriage is definitely hard, but as long as we're both looking to the Lord for our strength, courage, patience and love, we do great. :o) It's been a wonderful journey so far. Wishing you the most happiness in your marriage. :o)
Kassandra.

P.S. try not to get too cold up here! I'm sure it's a big change from what you're used to! You should be glad though, Anchorage doesn't get nearly as cold as Fairbanks does! :o)

Hello Lauren,

Such a precious photo but I have to say I'm a little confused... August 2009... I know there is a time difference between you guys and us in Australia but that's just ridiculous :) You remind me so much of my good friend Taliah and she's pregnant too - she's due in February. A baby is the most amazing thing that will ever happen to you - getting married seems like a relatively minor transition compared with what will occur after this little bundle enters the world. All three of you have just been added to the prayer list :)

In Christ,
Laura

How exciting! Praise the Lord! You look so happy. :)

I can't recall if I've ever commented before, but I absolutely love your blog. Please keep us updated on your new blessing!

Your statement in your About Me, "I have a burden for reaching the young laides of today...a woman of the Most High God." You touch my heart! Wow. For such a young woman - I know few who truly desire to live as Christ and for His glory, and not after the world's pleasures. I am in my 50s and have a blog in the spirit and purpose of Titus 2 older women. You may find it useful, you may also wish to share it. I waited upon Jesus for quite some time for a venue to share the lessons He'd taught me through hardship, pain, and a wonderful husband! I hope to hear from you, Lauren. To God Most High!
